"For this mix, I wanted to showcase the talent and the diversity of my city. All of the songs on this mix are coming out of Ottawa and SLAPPING. I do this for the love of good music and nothing makes me happier than playing good music for people, especially with all the BS on the radio right now. To explain the quote at the beginning of the mix: With everything going on in America, I feel it is important than ever to know your enemy. The working class is not your enemy, even if they have opposing views, the enemy is the system that this world runs on that is designed to oppress its "lower class" citizens by imprisonment, harassment and hundreds of other ways. The person speaking at the beginning of the mix is Mumia Abu Jamal in an interview from prison. Thank you for taking time to read this and listening to my mix."

All of the songs on this mix are coming out of Ottawa and SLAPPING.

Colmbine is many things but his main focus has been as a DJ/Event Organizer. This underground DJ grew up in Ottawa, or as his crew RBL.X calls it, "The Valley". Ottawa is a city with equal parts of grimey downtown and beautiful scenery/greenery. It also directly borders the french speaking province of Quebec, so there is plenty of places to find trouble if you are looking for it. Other cities in Canada may think Ottawa is just a slow government town (capital of Canada) but those from The Valley know it's much more than that.

As a yute, Colmbine was mostly a fan of heavy metal/rock with a little bit of hip hop thrown in (From System Of A Down, Marilyn Manson, Black Sabbath, Lamb Of God, 2Pac, Ice Cube, 50 Cent etc.) but when his cousin showed him the album "Last To Walk" by Three 6 Mafia in 2008, everything changed, and Colmbine dove into the underground. Fast forward to 2016 and Colmbine is spinning tracks at his first show at a club in Hull (neighboring Ottawa). The show was a concert for the hip hop crew RBL.X and Colmbine became their official DJ and part of their family that night. Fast forward through four years of hustling, grinding, finessing and getting it by any means necessary, RBL.X and Colmbine are selling out shows in Canada, and have dropped countless classics.
